History
The Idaho State Independent Automobile Dealers Association (ISIADA) is a non-profit association that represents independent automobile dealers and various associate members (insurance agents, financial institutions, and vendors whose focus is the independent auto dealer sales industry).
ISIADA was founded in 1984 to serve the needs of independent auto dealers in the state of Idaho. ISIADA now serves more than 230 dealers throughout Idaho. ISIADA is currently the only approved source that provides the 4-hour Continuing Education classes and the 8-hour Pre-Licensing Dealer Education classes and testing, as mandated in Idaho code.
ISIADA also represents independent auto dealers during the legislative session each year. ISIADA monitors legislation that may have an effect on independent dealers, and frequently proposes legislation for the betterment of the automobile sales industry in Idaho.
ISIADA is also a member association of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) that is based in Arlington, Texas. All members of ISIADA are automatically members of NIADA and enjoy all the rights and privileges afforded to national members.
